Government is under severe criticism these days for its revengeful actions against the political opponents. Recent allegations of money laundering and making assets beyond means on the Chaudhries of Gujrat by NAB has become the talk of the town and it is circulating in the political sectors that the bureau is being used as a tool for political engineering to fracture the political parties and arm twisting.
The opposition parties are trying to make a grand alliance to formulate a strong line of action against the rulers and the JUI-F chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman is the most active member in this regard who earlier met Asif Ali Zardari in Bilawal House and then had a 90-minute long meeting with PML-N president Shehbaz Sharif at his Model Town residence. Both the leaders (Fazal and Shehbaz) discussed the current situation and finally agreed to call a multi parties conference (MPC) after Eid-ul-Azha to get rid of the incompetent government.
According to sources, Maulana Fazal complained the PML-N chief about the old issue of skipping the JUI-F’s Azadi march in Islamabad last year claiming that if the biggest opposition party (PML-N) had supported JUI-F in the march, they collectively would have got rid of the incompetent rulers up till now. Maulana Fazal termed it a ‘lost opportunity’ however Shehbaz Sharif categorically assured him that this time the PML-N would not disappoint him (Fazl) and step forward for a common cause.
JUI-F chief met Shehbaz Sharif at his model town residence and urged him to step together for sending back the incompetent government, sources claimed
While concluding the three-week Azadi march in Islamabad last year, JUI-F chief had claimed that he was winding up the march on the assurance of sacking Prime Minister Imran Khan and conducting new elections. While talking to the journalist after meeting, the JUI-F chief shared that all the opposition parties had finally agreed not to give more time to the selected government that came to power through rigging. He further added that no segment of the society was satisfied with the performance of the government and now MPC would establish the agenda to send the government home.
This is the right time to get rid of PTI-government, Shehbaz Sharif claimed
Shehbaz Sharif claimed that the PTI government was the nastiest in the history of the country because of its bad governance and poor performance. He added that the government had done nothing for the poor segment of the society whose life had become miserable for exceptional inflation. He lambasted the government for its incompetence that had uplifted the US dollar to Rs170.
Shehbaz said that it was the right time to send the government home therefore the meeting of the Rahbar Committee had been called and the MPC would be held after Eidul Azha. When asked whether the government would be ousted with the help of the umpire (unseen powers), Shehbaz Sharif replied on lighter note that it could be well told in the playground.
Last week, the chairman of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari had a meeting with a delegation of PML-N, headed by the former National Assembly speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq in which he gave his consent to convene the MPC after Eidul Azha for framing a joint anti-government strategy.
