The National Crime Agency (NCA) London has confirmed that they have taken up the possession of Malik Riaz’s Hyde Park Flat and the proceeds will be sent to Pakistan after selling it. The statement clearly negated Malik Riaz’s viewpoint that he had sold his declared and legal property in London to settle the Bahria Town Karachi dispute as ordered by the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

Zardari’s personal physician included in the medical board constituted by IHC
A Two-Member bench of IHC ordered to formulate a medical board for Asif Ali Zardari including his personal physician and PIMS doctors. The board would be bound to present its report in December 11 hearing in lieu of post-arrest bail petition filed by the former president on medical grounds. The bench members Athar Minallah and Aamir Farooq also directed NAB to submit their reply in bail petitions filed separately from Zardari and Faryal Taalpur in the next hearing.

The opposition not only assailed the Government for mishandling the Kashmir issue but also criticized them for the controversial ordinance of establishing the CPEC Authority, 2019 calling it an insulting step towards the sovereignty of Parliamentary Committee that had opposed the formulation of the said Authority through an ordinance. Ahsan Iqbal (PML-N) and Naveed Qamar (PPP) were the two opposition members who gave a tough time to the Government on the opening-day of current session.
KP finds the way to reduce prices
In an attempt to control the price hike in KP, the Provincial Government has increased the daily import of onion, cabbage, spinach, potato, peas, apples, bitter gourd, grapes, radish and pomegranate from Afghanistan. CM-KP Mehmood Khan shared,” The government intends to reduce the prices of these common fruits and vegetables through increased supply and therefore the number of vehicles carrying them from Afghanistan to Pakistan have been increased from 12 to 100 per day. This will not only fulfill the demand in KP but will also be sent to the other provinces to serve the purpose”.
Kuwait Government hinted towards relaxation in business visa policy for Pakistan to strengthen business relations between the two Islamic countries
The Counsel General of Kuwait Mr. Saleem Yousif Al-Hamdan while addressing the members of KCCI urged quick initiation of dialogue between the two Interior Ministries to transform the idea into reality at the earliest. Adding further, Hamdan said that CPEC would undoubtedly leave its long lasting impacts not only on Pakistan’s economy but also on the whole Asian region.

Following the Supreme Court orders for legislation on the extension/re-appointment of Army Chief matter, an eight-members committee has been constituted that will forward its recommendations to the Federal cabinet about the inclusions/amendments in law. Led by the Law Minister Farogh Naseem the committee comprises Attorney General Capt (R) Anwar Mansoor, Azam Swati, the concerned Federal Minister, Mirza Shehzad Akbar, the law and justice secretary, PM office Joint secretary and the cabinet secretary.
