The political heat is increasing day by day as the sounds of minus one are reverberating all around the country. The opposition claims that the PM himself raised this slogan that later became the need of the day. Sheikh Rasheed says that the circumstances are heading towards “Minus Three” whereas Shahid Khakan Abbasi claims that it would be “Minus 160”.
However one thing that seems to be common in the narratives of all parties is that someone is going to be “Minus” from the current political system. There had been cracks in the ruling coalition after BNP-M left the treasury benches in National Assembly while other allies are also expressing their concerns over the non-fulfillment of promises by the government.
Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman bashed yesterday that ‘fake’ mandate and ‘selected’ prime minister were fully exposed before the nation. He further added that due to the failures in all aspects, people were now looking for the new general elections and now the situation had gone beyond the “minus one” or local government polls.
PTI is pursuing the anti -Islamic agenda, bashed Maulana
The JUI-F chief said that the real solution to the various problems of the country was lying under the general elections. He was addressing the party leaders in Sukkur where he had taken a stop while travelling to Karachi where he would preside over a multiparty conference on July 09, 2020.
Fazal added that it was desperately needed from the political forces to come up with maturity and make decisions so as to protect the people and save the country from the “incompetent gang” that had ruined the institutions. “The current rulers who had claimed to transform the country into the state of Madina, are on their way to westernize the society by eliminating the role of religious elements by controlling them in the name of reforms”, Fazal blamed.
We categorically reject the so called reforms for seminaries proposed by the government, Says JUI-F chief
Calling it a western agenda, Maulana categorically rejected the proposed reforms and said that such efforts were also made in the past to make them bow before the western agents however they would never succeed in their malicious intention of making the country a secular state.
Mentioning the role of Ulema, Seminaries and Religious forces in the formation of the state of Madina he said that the current rulers were acting upon the dictation of their “foreign lords”. He however vowed to defeat the western forces and their agents in Pakistan with the help of religious elements. Fazal said that instead of strengthening the institutions, the bungling rulers had made them controversial through their inefficiency and lack of skills.
He claimed that only the strong institutions could strengthen the country. Maulana slammed the rulers for holding the past governments responsible for the current devastating economic situation and said that this was nothing but to befool the people. He however claimed that the countdown had started and assured that even minus-one could not save them as the whole team was incompetent.
