The political heat is increasing day by day after the PML-N leadership comes into action. The dramatic entry of Mariyam Nawaz has certainly given new a new life to the desperate and distressed workers of the party who had been facing the criticism from their opponents on the self-abscondment of Sharifs for long. The twist came into the story after six MPAs of PML-N had a meeting with Usman Buzdar and expressed their confidence over Imran and Buzdar leadership. Reacting on the said move, the leadership of PML-N suspended the membership of Azhar Abbas (PP-269, Muzaffargarh), Muhammad Arshad (PP-244, Bahawalnagar), Muhammad Faisal Khan Niazi (PP-209, Khanewal), Choudhry Ashraf Ali (PP-57, Gujranwala), Abu Hafas Ghayasuddin (PP-47, Narowal) and Nishat Ahmed Daha (PP-206, Khanewal) and issued them show cause notice for violating party discipline and code of conduct.
Party members had earlier demanded Shehbaz Sharif to come back and participate in politics
The office of Chief Minister Buzdar claimed in an official press that the MPAs were accompanied by an important leader of PML-Q, Tariq Bashir Cheema and announced their unconditional support to the PTI. The notices asked the lawmakers to explain why they went against the party rules and met their opponents. This is important to know that a similar meeting was also held with PM Imran Khan in the past without any intimation and approval. The lawmakers have been directed to submit their replies within a week; failure to which may lead towards legal action by the party against them otherwise.
Led by Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha the angry members in a recent party meeting had desperately demanded the return of opposition leader Mian Shehbaz Sharif from London to actively participate in the politics. Senator Pir Sabir Shah also claimed that their party had been facing political damage by giving up Nawaz Sharif’s narrative and stance. He further complained that PML-N did not take advantage of PTI’s bad governance and poor performance and this was really disappointing not only for the party members but the supporters also. He warned that the popularity of PML-N would vanish away if they would not play their role as a true and solid opposition. Criticizing the leadership, Shah mentioned that only members from Punjab were included in decision making while the members from other provinces were straight away ignored and neglected. He demanded the party think tank to ensure equal representation from other provinces in party matters.
PTI member and Ex-MNA Sardar Mansoor joins PML-N
Mian Javed Latif had also raised his voice to widen the orbit of decision makers by including more party members while taking important political decisions and take all the members into confidence before heading towards any political step. He also urged the party to step towards practical implementation of party narrative and openly and bravely announce the political war against the rulers without any compromise. He further added that PML-N had compromised their narrative in a matter and they certainly would have to face the music in terms of criticism and disparagement in future. He however did not clearly mention which mistake he had talking about specifically.
Both PML-N and PTI have been claiming that the members of the opponent party are about to join their parties by flying away from their current political castles. In a recent development, PML-N has bowled out PTI by a straight Yorker where Ex-member of National Assembly from Tala Gang, Sardar Mansoor Hayat joined PML-N saying good bye to his party PTI. Let’s see who will win this political combat.
